Profile: Yudan's Anthropians

Ahh the playful wolf boy! Such a lively room! He has toys and game boards that he was able to salvage and a bright room to keep his energy up! He is a shifter so he may appear as someone else however don't worry I am sure he is just playing around as he usually does!

2011-08-01 [Yudan333]: Grey drops his clothes and ran in tackling the bear on the ground and then rushed to the desk and barks to the blue bowl filled with macaroni and yips, "You can eat it there, the chair you will fit just right in. Oh if ya want you can stay with me! See i have another bed." He nods up to the top bunk then saw his tail and growls began chasing it; round and round he went till he tipped over dizzily.

2011-08-01 [Sicarius]: The girl gave another hesitant smile as he spoke, and then, once more she giggled when he started to chase his tail only to make himself dizzy. Once more the stuffed rabbit was held in one hand as she grabbed the bowl with the other, before (somehow) sitting down. She was a bit too short to reach the desk while seated...Irving noted that Grey had actually made sure he'd put a fork in the bowl of noodles and cheese. Ariston, more than reluctant to do so, gently placed Irving on the floor next to the chair and began to eat slowly. Stopping after she'd eaten a few mouthfuls (and making sure she'd swallowed before she spoke) the girl said, "...what about you? What will you eat...Dir En Grey?" She would have added the title 'Mister' but, somehow little Ari knew it didn't really fit him...and that he probably wouldn't like it anyway.

2011-08-01 [Yudan333]: Grey smiled as she began to eat and be began to play with the stuffed polar bear on the ground and rolled with it and bit and tugs it. When it rolled on him he struggled under it as he poked his head out to the girl and tilted his head, "Me? Hmm. I could go make some more. Or ramen. I'll find something don't worry." He looked to the bunny on the ground and slowly crawled up to nip and sniffed his foot and lightly put his paw to him then jumped back in case he'd move of his own free will, "If it's easier call me Grey I got a long name. "Can he move?" He tilts his head ear flopped to side and one up; his curled tail wagging.

2011-08-01 [Sicarius]: She smiled as she watched him play around, "Okay..." she said in response to his comment. Ariston grew noticeably tense when Grey moved closer to Irving, almost like she was afraid he was going to take him away...Irving's eyes scowled at the pup, "...In answer to your yapping," he said, "I cannot move...if I could she wouldn't have to carry me everywhere..." Ariston chose to speak up now, more relaxed now that she knew Grey wasn't trying to take her bunny, "...but I like carrying you around Mister Irving!" Irving gave a little 'harumph,' though it was more a grudging admission that he was pleased with her remark, than it was of disapproval.

2011-08-01 [Yudan333]: Grey looked to the bunny and smiled then wags his tail, "So that's your name? Irving. Hmm well what a wonderful name for a great friend." He smiled and then drug his tongue over the dolls cheek then pranced off and looked back laughing but not paying attention ran right into the dresser. He hit rather hard and when he did the pillow from the upper bunk fell right over him. Silence wasn't very assuring.

2011-08-01 [Sicarius]: Dark eyes watched as Grey talked to Irving...then licked him. She gave a giggle; the rabbit would definitely not enjoy that...Getting up she managed to put the now empty bowl back on the desktop, only to end up sitting down on the floor a few seconds later. The rabbit merely looked disgusted, "...dog slobber..." was all he managed to get out before the child picked him up and hugged him. Ari could only watch open mouthed as the pillow landed ontop of the pup. "...Idiot..." muttered the bunny, though he did begin to feel a twinge of concern when the other had made no sound or moved after a few moments.

In relative short order, a shadowy figure made itself known. Ariston's eyes held raw fear until the figure, now in human shape with glowing red eyes, reached down to remove the pillow then disappeared. Guess it's not to interested in going after her right now, Irving thought, and thank goodness for that...

Rising to her feet, worry etched onto her features, the girl moved closer to the prone form of Grey, clutching the stuffed rabbit tightly to her. "Grey?" Voice was fearful, concerned...and barely above a whisper.

2011-08-03 [Yudan333]: Grey didn't feel the pillow hit him he only saw darkness when hitting something. He had forgotten what was happening. Their was.. a girl... a rabbit... am i in wonderland? The darkness began to fade into light and he winced hearing the child call him and in pup form still he gave a small whine before opening his eyes and putting his paws slowly on his head as the pain began to hit him. He slowly looked down and tears left his cheeks but it was curious as too why? Was the hit that hard or was it something else? I don't want to scare her away... what i am is nothing but a monster... She deserves better... I will make it my goal to see that another child will be able to protect her even from something as wretched as me...

2011-08-03 [Sicarius]: She saw him move and moved closer, breathing a sigh of relief...truth be told, she had not realized she'd been holding her breath until it came out in a 'woosh'. Kneeling down in front of him, she began to pet his ears, "...Are you okay?" "He'd better be," huffed the rabbit. A small cloud of silver butterflies alighted on the puppy, not harming but healing...They did as their mistress wished...though often she was not actually aware of asking them to do so.

2011-08-03 [Yudan333]: He looked up to her with sad silver eyes and then his gaze fell as his entire self was filled with doubt and still being a child at heart he couldn't just grow up about it and push it aside. But he had too. He was the adult. He didn't want to be but he was. He rubbed his eyes and then paws her knees gently as he lightly nipped at her arm making small gruff grunts and gnarls.

2011-08-03 [Sicarius]: Dark eyes stared into Grey's, unreadable. The smile on her face was somewhat sorrowful as he began to play once more, "...A child in spirit, an adult in body...it's difficult to balance the two, but it can be done..." voice was soft, serious, and then, it was like she'd never spoken at all...Ariston's smile was genuine again, if not a bit hesitant like all the times before, and she hugged him again, this time being careful not to choke him...and after awhile, she yawned. Shaking her head slightly, she gave a small frown. The girl didn't want to go to sleep yet...she was having fun.

Irving stayed silent...even when his charge seemed weary, he was content to let her tire herself out...she'd not really had any fun for quite some time...and besides, when she finally slept, she'd sleep deeply...something she'd managed to keep herself from doing for the past few months...

2011-08-03 [Yudan333]: His ears had perked hearing her and he whined softly as if wishing she had only understood how hard it was. He clung tightly to her licking her cheek when she hugged him. He missed hugs; he never really got them but if he could he would surely indulge in getting them even if he was in another form. He then smiled seeing her yawn then though of something they could do to pass time till she grew too sleepy, "Wanna play a game? Or color? I got jenga which is a fun stacking game and then I have a bunch of coloring books!" He wags his curly husky tail.

2011-08-03 [Sicarius]: Her eyes lit up again, "A game? It's been a long time since I played a game with anyone!" "And even longer still is the time it's been since you've even seen a colouring book," Irving was quick to point out. Ari nodded, "Yep..." and then she thought for a moment, "...You decide, Grey..."

If you want to Shift back, feel free to do so...the rabbit spoke silently to the other, ...she's used to you now, so the butterflies will not make another appearance...just make sure you're decent...he added. It wasn't that Irving was particularly fond of the lad, that he offered...but he knew his mistress would not be frightened by the change...and it only made sense, with them now living there, for her to get used to unexpected happenings and other people...

2011-08-03 [Yudan333]: Thinking a long moment he wondered if he could pic between the two. He simply smiled, "Let's do both! When it's my turn to pull you can be coloring and when it's your turn to pull I can color." He smiled and got up prancing to the dresser, "Pull out the coloring books and the crayons. I'll get the blocks." He went to his clothing which he had left on the floor and climbed into them as he shifted and did so well only his arm was in his head hole. He fixed the ty-dye shirt and then grabs the box from the dresser and sat on the floor and dumped them out and began to stack them.

2011-08-03 [Sicarius]: Dark eyes watched him as he thought about it, and when he smiled, she smiled back, "Okay..." she said simply, and, at his instructions, she grabbed both the crayons and colouring books, then turned back and moved to where he was stacking the blocks. Grabbing one of the books at random, she let it fall open to a page of a sailing ship and began to colour it...the ocean she made a mix of green, blue and grey...the painted hull of the craft she made a brilliant red, and, after a moment's pause, she started to draw birds far off in the sky in black, after which she used a combination of cornflower blue and robin's egg blue for the sky. She worked patiently, diligently...and was extremely careful to keep everything inside the lines...such a serious child, even in play...

2011-08-03 [Yudan333]: Grey had finished stacking the blocks and now looked to the books and grabbed one and opened to a page and was gazing at a My Little Pony picture of some pony in a pose with a tray of apples. Grey then pulled a middle block somewhere along the middle as he laid on his stomach legs bent upwards and he began to just grab a color from the crayons on the ground and colored each stand of the pony's mane and tail rainbowed colors not paying any mind to a certain color. He scribbled in a fast matter but still was in the lines for the most part. He was not doing it in a order just random to fill in the white with colors and shades.

2011-08-03 [Sicarius]: Dark eyes looked to the tower of blocks, and after thinking for a moment, she took one from the bottom...one of the outside pieces...Finished, she flipped to another page in the book, this one a lighthouse, and picked up a dark blue color to start with. The rocks she coloured a reddish-brown, the sky, a light blue, the sea a greyish-green, and the grass ended up a bright emerald hue. Irving watched her as she worked, blue-button eyes showing faint concern.

2011-08-03 [Yudan333]: Grey had finished the picture of the Pony which looked like a rainbow shat on the paper to be honest with all the colors. He pulled a block from the side angling it just right so the tower wouldn't wobble or fall. He then looked to the rabbit and then to the girl and smiled as he tore the page he had and signed it with a elegant font. "Here Miss Ari. Made it just for you. Maybe we can hang it later." He then looked to the picture she had colored and smiled, "Maybe together we can make a color by number!"

2011-08-03 [Sicarius]: She awarded Grey with yet another hesitant smile as she took the offered picture. "Thank you, Grey..." she said, then looked carefully at the tower, and giving a slight nod, removed the other outside piece from where she'd previously taken the other. Turning now to look at him, she smiled again, "Yeah, that would be fun!" It was hard not to catch his enthusiasm...even if she was a little sleepy. Another yawn escaped her, as she got up and went to the desk and set the page he'd given her on it before moving back to where she'd been.

2011-08-03 [Yudan333]: He watched her and smiled closing both the books and opened a color by number and set out some of the colors. He took the yellow and smiled, "Yellow three... okay.." He looked for threes and began to lightly fill them in being much more careful to stay in the lines given. He saw her come by as well and he made room, "Ahh maybe you can do the blue fours." He smiled as he looked to the tower, "Wow you did good..." He reached up near the top and pulled one on the far side seeing it lightly wibble he pulled back and searched for a center that was loose and pushed it out.

2011-08-03 [Sicarius]: Ari smiled again, "Thanks..." and as he made his move, she began coloring in the fours in a slightly dark shade of blue. It was an easy enough task for her to find another loose center piece and free it. Another yawn broke free from her, but she wanted to keep playing. Make sure she doesn't grow too tired...the rabbit admonished, though his voice was not as harsh as it had been...more worried than anything else.

2011-08-03 [Yudan333]: He smiled as they colored and as he finished yellow and went to red and saw her blue go to orange they had finished the picture to reveal a yellow duckling in some puddles having a orange bill smiling at the audience. Grey looked to the rabbit then to the bricks and pulled one he had hesitated before on and saw the tower tip. He smiled and began to yawn, "I think it's time to hit the sack. I'll get a tee you can wear. Oh would you like the top bunk?" He smiled as he checked in the dresser for a nice shirt for her.

2011-08-04 [Sicarius]: She gave a yawn, and shook her head in answer to his question...seeing his back turned to her she was quick to follow up with "No thanks..." and then, "I'll sleep in what I'm wearing..." She was used to it after all...Irving broke in, "Take his offer, Miss Ariston...it's been a long while since you wore anything else..." Ari nodded, "Yes, Mister Irving..." and then she gave a long yawn.

2011-08-04 [Yudan333]: Grey pulled down a smaller tee that was solid blue like that of a dark ocean. He then hands it to her as well as some bottoms which may actually fit her due to their size. He smiled and grabbed two plastic cups, "I'll go get a bit of water before you go to bed. I'll go to the bathroom then I'll knock when I come back to make sure your dressed." He went to the door and left shutting it behind him and went down the hall to the main bathroom which had many sinks and stalls as well as showering rooms.

2011-08-04 [Sicarius]: Giving a nod, she waited until he'd left, then quickly changed out of her clothes and slipped on the ones he'd given her. The bottoms fit her, just barely, as did the shirt...in fact it was almost comical how big they looked on her...still, they were clean and relatively comfortable. "...this is a lot better," she said, hugging Irving. "Why do you think I recommended it, Miss Ariston?" the rabbit said, giving a soft chuckle. She placed the rabbit on the bed, and folded the dirty clothes neatly before placing them near where the desk was. Giving another yawn, she grabbed Irving again and waited for Grey to come back.

2011-08-04 [Yudan333]: Grey took a longer while coming back though it was curious as too why. There was a soft knock at the door and when he heard a reply the man stepped in and shut the door locking it and walked to her handing her the plastic cup which was half full. His own was about the same. He drank his and put the cup on the desk, "Sorry I was brushing my teeth. See?" He gave a bright smile; he honestly could be on one of the tooth paste commercials with how nice his teeth looked. Funny his fangs were lightly poking out but not like a vampires. He then stretched and smiled, "So top or bottom?"

2011-08-06 [Sicarius]: Ariston nodded, then took a sip of the water before placing it on the desk. Better to have some water close at hand in case she woke up needing some. At his question, she tilted her head and thought. "The bottom bed will be fine," she replied after a time, tone hesitant. Truth be told Ariston was not fond of heights.

((Ugh, don't know what to write!!!))

2011-08-10 [Yudan333]: [Don't worry we all have our moments ^^]
He smiled and then lifted her gently and laid her in bed then even tucked her in brushing hair from her face he gave a tender and gentle smile, "Sleep well Miss Ari. And you to Sir Irving." He nods to the hare then went to the door turning the switch and slowly climbing up top and laid down then curled in a ball closing his eyes. He still saw some light from the window which made the room lightly visible.

2011-08-11 [Sicarius]: She nodded, giving a hesitant smile back as he tucked her in. Irving said nothing. The girl yawned softly, and within minutes was sleeping soundly. The rabbit sighed, "I know you're awake, Shifter..." he said, voice just as gruff as it had always been. "and I have a word of advice for you...do not grow too attached to Miss Ariston...the pain the butterflies can cause is only the tip of the iceberg...You have no idea how destructive her abilities can be..."

2011-08-16 [Yudan333]: Grey listened to the grumpy ol' rabbit and simply smiled full of hope and didn't bother opening his eyes only yawning a moment before he cleared his throat to reply, "I am not scared of growing close. I really enjoy Miss Ari. She makes me feel happy. It's nice to know I have a friend."

2011-08-16 [Sicarius]: "Being her friend is all well and good," replied the rabbit, "Fates know she has far too few of them...However, one can be a friend without growing too attached...Attachments are why she is alone now, save for myself..." Ari turned in bed, a soft whimper escaping her. The everpresent garnet eyed butterfly fluttered about, to avoid being crushed. Irving's eyes showed faint concern and he fell silent for a time, waiting for her to settle before speaking again.

"A child, unable to have a real childhood...If it had just been the butterflies, perhaps things would have been different..." he sighed, "...but there is the matter of her other abilities...The very same that led that Creator to her..." The rabbit fell silent once more, and after a long pause, spoke again, "...but, I won't say anymore...you'll find out sooner or later..." Blue button eyes seemed to dim after a few more minutes as Irving followed his mistress into the realm of slumber.

The silver butterfly moved freely about the room, before coming to rest on the pillow near Grey. If it were able to talk, oh the stories it could tell...Ariston gave another soft whimper in her sleep and hugged Irving closer...sadly nightmares were all her dreams were now...

2011-08-19 [Yudan333]: Grey listened to Irving and shook his head lightly thinking to himself, I can be as attached as I want to be. I like Ari. I really like her. Well not like boyfriend girlfriend but I finally have someone I can play with.' He smiled but it faded hearing her and his eyes opened and looked around to check the room as though expecting something. He then sighed and looked to the floor listened once more to the hair.

Things got quiet and he laid back and stared at the cieling though seeing the faint white flutter he looked to the butterfly and leaned forward sniffing lightly then smiled, "Pleasure to meet you too. You know your friends give a nasty shock. I'm glad I'm rather immune to most pain." He heard the whimper and sadly wanted to help.

Slowly he crawled down from the top and kneeled beside her and looked to her intently as his eyes lightly glowed, "Ari... I'm here." He whispered knowing she'd hear him. If her whines continued he may attempt something that could destroy him but it was something no other shifter as himself had ever attempted; to shift into a thought.

2011-08-20 [Sicarius]: The delicate insect merely looked at the wolf, its wings moving every now and again, as if responding to his comments.

Lenore whimpered again, clutching the rabbit even tighter...relaxing only slightly at Grey's whisper...tensing again after a few moments had passed. The butterfly had now fluttered to rest near the unhappy child's head, waving its wings rapidly. Red eyes stared at the Shifter, 'I wouldn't do what you are planning,' they seemed to say.

Ari began to cry softly in her sleep, though not soft enough to keep Irving from waking. The rabbit gave a weary sigh, "It's okay Miss Ariston..." his voice was surprisingly gentle, quite a change from his normally brusque tone. Blue eyes were worried, and he didn't bother to disguise this, even though he knew quite well the dire wolf was there. By this time there were tears trailing down her cheeks, soaking the handsewn hare, though he didn't seem to mind. "Shhh," he continued, "it's okay...everything will be all right..." After a few moments of this, he turned to Grey, "Are you just going to stand there and look stupid, or are you going to actually try and help?" His gruff tone was back, though it was probably more gruff than usual...it was easy to forgive him though, as it was clear he was concerned for the child.

2011-08-20 [Yudan333]: Grey looked to the butterfly as it flapped it's wings quite quickly and he shook his head, I have to do something! She needs me! He moved a bit closer as he looked to the hare and then to the child he gently touched her hand and his eyes glowed a bright silver as his eyes turned a solid color and his breath stopped.

Plummeting down into the abyss of grey clouds and cold air Grey hit the ground hard and winced then slowly rose and shook. He heard the girl and knew she was right behind him. He stood up and let his eyes try to focus on what was happening. He wasted no time in rushing to take her in his arms and holding her close his hand on the back of her head, "Ari... I'm here... It's alright I'm going to protect you... i made a promise to my friend.."

2011-08-20 [Sicarius]: Dark eyes looked up to the figure confused, "You're not supposed to be here..." she whispered, expression suddenly fearful. "...you weren't here when it happened..." Ari shook her head and pushed him away, standing and turning to look at the ruined city before her. "You weren't here when..." her voice faded away, and she looked down at the tattered dress she now wore.

"When she helped destroy this city..." came a voice to the far right. It was calm, matter-of-fact as it addressed Grey...and the girl's head rose to look in the direction of the voice...though all that was discernible in the haze of smoke and fog was a dark mass.

In the waking world, the rabbit sighed, "Fool," he said, blue eyes faint with worry. "...did you stop to think that even if you should not happen to come back, she will? And how that would make her feel? Far better to have nightmares than to have to wake to something like what she's already lived through again..."

2011-08-20 [Yudan333]: Grey felt her shove him back and looked to her lightly hurt from her rejection and shook his head, "No maybe not but I wanted to be here with you. Cause I know you can't get enough Grey right?" He smiled and gave a wink. However he looked to the ruined city and her dress then to the shadow in the smoke. Grey stood tall and moved in front of her in a protective manner, "The past doesn't matter. We need to look forward to the future. Even if she did destroy a city,, Warbirds would have destroyed it just the same; just like every other major and minor city. Our entire world is in ruin because of them." He looked to the shadow of the figure, "Ari is a wonderful girl. I have much faith and trust in her. I am sure it was not on purpose or to her knowledge that this happened." he stood up for her proudly ready to back up his friend at any and all costs.

2011-08-20 [Sicarius]: Ari looked at Grey and gave a half-hearted attempt at a smile.

The figure spoke again, as if it were patiently explaining something to a child. "The Warbirds did destroy it...but she had a hand in it..." a soft chuckle, "...indeed she had a hand in quite a few things they did...though she did not realize it...So young...so destructive..."

Ariston let out another whimper and moved closer to Grey, closing her eyes and shaking her head. "No use in trying to deny it, my dear," the dark shape's voice broke the silence. "Thanks to you, that city and others are gone now...and there are very few of those weaklings like your parents left..."

A soft sob escaped her now as she clung to the Shifter, tears streaming down her face. "They weren't we-" her soft voice was easily interrupted by the dark mass, who moved a few more steps closer, "Oh, but they were," it interjected, "They were weak...they were frightened of you...of what you could do, of what you were...They were going to kill you sooner or later...You're lucky I stepped in when I did..."

Irving gave a sigh of frustration and worry as he saw red lycoris flowers begin to appear around the room, "If that idiot doesn't calm her down, there's a good chance what happened then will happen now...though on a smaller scale..."

Ari was still shaking her head, tears silently streaming down her face...and then she remembered. "Where's Mister Irving?" For a moment the figure was forgotten as the girl focused on the rabbit. "Did he stay behind this time?" Hands rose up to brush the tears away as she looked up to Grey. Remarkably, the shadowy mass did not speak...instead it chose to remain silent...though no doubt, once their exchange was over, it would see fit to interject whenever it saw fit.

2011-08-23 [Yudan333]: Grey narrowed his eyes and barked, "Who cares what you say! I don't think it honestly matters. Unlike many of the birds Ari is good. I believe in her. I trust her. But you; your far from that. You are as low as the warbirds and to torment a girl. How rude!" He turned his back to the figure and looked to Ari and lowered down brushing her tears as he smiled, "You control this dream Ari. Not that thing. Now comeon. Just concentrate. Thing of something nice like a large open field that goes to the skyline. Where the grass is green and tall; where the sky is blue and the clouds make shapes. That's a dream worth dreaming. Especially if I get to share it with you." He smiled and hugged her in his arms and kissed her cheek, "Oh little Ari; I got you safe. just thing in that field you cal let all your butterflies play in the grass; they would like that." He smiled down to her holding her so only he was in focus not this figure and he spoke to her fluidly so the other couldn't interrupt.

2011-08-23 [Sicarius]: The figure chuckled, "On the contrary," it replied to Grey's angry speech, "I'm the reason she hasn't destroyed most everything she's seen...most everyone she's met...and I'm the sole reason she's not become as bad, if not worse than, the Warbirds..."

Ari stared at Grey, "...It doesn't work like that..." she said simply, "...I've tried...The first time the dreams started I tried to change it...That only made it worse..." her voice trailed away, and the figure chuckled, as the girl focused her attention on Grey and tried to ignore the words...even though it was written clearly on her face that she believed the being's words to be true...

"Maybe you could try, Shifter..." it said at last, tone faintly mocking, "...You aren't connected to me as she is...though you should know you cannot always protect her from her memories of what she's done..."

Irving relaxed, the blooms had started to disappear, "Good job," he muttered, "though I doubt you managed to rid Ari of her problem..."

2011-09-27 [Yudan333]: Grey looked to Air seeing her face sadden as though she had a lack of confidence. However hearing her speak he began to think and nods a bit more so to himself but did reply to her with a kinda tender smile as he usually did, "Well then I guess you leave me no choice huh?"

He closed his eyes as the world around them began to shape up trees from the blackness and grass sprouted under it as soft chirps were heard of birds as well as chipmunks. He opened his eyes seeing the sky turn blue as shaped clouds passed around. He knew his idea's could work only since she was allowing the idea.

He took her hand and smiled, "See how great this is Ari. Maybe soon you will be able to do this all by yourself!"

2011-09-27 [Sicarius]: Ariston's eyes widened in surprise. She hadn't expected Grey to be able to do anything like this...Tears of a different sort escaped her now, and sniffling a little, the young girl hugged him. After a few moments, she pulled away, eyes still wet, "How?" she asked, now taking the time to look around at the scenery. Gaze drifted upward as a chipmunk started chattering at them.

Dark eyes turned back to the dire wolf, "...Thank you..." She smiled at him, to all appearances happy...but what she didn't reveal was her feeling that the figure from before was still there somehow...It was lurking just beyond Grey's peaceful scene...waiting for an opportunity to enter once more and upset the girl...</i>

"Well done," muttered the rabbit, "Well done...not bad for a whelp..." Ari was relaxed in her slumber, and knowing the wolf was with her and capable of looking after the girl, Irving allowed himself to slip into a light doze.

2011-09-28 [Yudan333]: Grey could only smile with delight and hugs her as he pointed to the clouds, "That one looks like a ice cream cone." He smiled and sat on his rear in the grass patting her head, "Lovely day isn't it."

His eyes slowly went to the girl as he gave a reassuring nod, "Don't worry; I'll stay here okay? I won't let anything bad happen to you Ari; promise." His silver eyes held truth behind them

2011-10-28 [Sicarius]: Dark eyes followed the motion of his hand as he pointed up. "...Ice cream..." she repeated, then gave a hesitant smile. She nodded at his question, "It is...but how?" Tone was small, awe-filled.

Solemn gaze met his, "Thank you...but..." a soft sigh escaped her, quickly swept away on the light breeze...there was so much she wanted to say...but the question was finding how to say it...

2011-12-27 [Yudan333]: "Ari.. Be honest with me. You need to speak so speak. Their is nothing that you will say that would ever hurt me. You can trust me. Speaking of trust. I trust you. I know you are dependable Ari. If I needed help and I told you to run; I think you would try and help me. or would you run?" He didn't see her as the scared child that she thought she was. He knew that deep down she was a fierce lioness waiting to jump out of her cage.

2011-12-29 [Sicarius]: Dark eyes looked up at him, expression thoughtful. "I do not know...it is easy to say I would gladly help, and truthfully I feel I would...but..." her voice trailed off, "...it is difficult to say what I would do unless faced with that situation..." Her reasoning was sound...far too mature for one so young.

Gaze turned to the sky, "...You cannot protect me...Mister Irving cannot protect me...My parents could not protect me...If it weren't for..." she seemed to struggle for the right word, "...for whatever I am...I would not be here...those people wouldn't be dead..." she looked down and gave a slight shudder. It seemed Ari knew at least part of what the shadowy figure had alluded to...though how much remained to be seen.

2011-12-29 [Yudan333]: Grey watched her as she seemed to struggle with her words. He simply smiled as he took her into his arms as he sat on the ground and whispered in her ear, "Ari, I know you are better than what you may think. You didn't cause the destruction. The War Birds did most all the damage.

No one blames you Ari. You are a dear friend to me and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I know I can help you. This thing locked inside you. It may seem silly but I think I can fight it. Because I can feel it." He smiled and kissed her cheek and brushed her hair and rubs her cheek, "Don't be afraid Ari. I swear I will be here for you."

2011-12-29 [Sicarius]: She looked down, "...but I did...I did cause the destruction...it was not my will...but...I was a part of it..." She had tensed when he put his arms around her, but relaxed slightly and after a long pause, she spoke once more.

"...I blame me...for what little I can remember..." a shiver, and then she looked up at him, "...you would too...I should have been able to stop him..." another long pause, and then she let herself slump down in his grasp, "...I'm tired..." and, as if to underscore that point, the girl yawned, "...could you really fight? ...Fight and win?" tone was one of cautious hope as she snuggled closer. "...Losing is for keeps..." she murmured, before giving another yawn.

((...boy, really need to get back into the swing of things...*grins*...my writing has become subpar as of late...))

2011-12-29 [Yudan333]: He brushed though her hair and kissed her head holding her in his lap hoping she could get to sleep, "Don't worry I will be here for you. And I will fight and win." He continued to brush through her hair as he held her close to keep him warm.

From in her dream he felt his consciousness waking as though feeling something. He closed his eyes opening the senses of his sleeping body. He could hear clicking and scratching at the door knob. He inhaled deeply trying to smell anything but the door blocked the scent. He looked to Ari and laid her in the grass, "You are safe here.. I am with you it's alright." He smiled.

(( Nah sall good. I know the feeling it's been like 50 days since posting XDD))

2011-12-29 [Sicarius]: Breathing became slower and her body relaxed as her dreamself slumbered in the Shifter's arms. She did not hear the scratching at the door...but Irving did.

The rabbit sighed heavily, "Stop scritching and scrabbling about," voice was gruff, "...you risk waking those who slumber here..." Tone was warning, and inwardly the rabbit was grinning, after all, the unknown visitor didn't need to know he could do nothing to stop the intrusion.

The shadowy figure had left of its own accord...let the girl have her peace...there would be plenty of time to deal with her...

2011-12-29 [Yudan333]: Grey felt the shadows leave in her sleep and he took this time to wake himself from beside her. He pulled away from the bed where he had sat by the bottom bunk. He looked to the door and placed his nose to the entrance and inhaled and his eyes widened. He shuddered and trembled as though struck with fear. He looked to the sleeping Ari and then to Irving and whispered "Make sure she keeps sleeping.." He swallowed hard and faced the door as though ready to possibly go out.

A cool voice came from the other side as a snort sounded past the door, "Come out come out where-ever you are... Grey I smell youth.. why don't you share?" The males voice grew dark as claws could be heard on the door but not loud enough to wake the sleeping girl.

2011-12-29 [Sicarius]: Blue button eyes blazed, "...Care to tell me who the hell our friend is?" voice was low. "I'll do my best to keep her in slumber, but there is a good likelihood she will wake...her ability makes her...sensitive to certain things..."

The handsewn rabbit was concerned to say the least...if something happened, he would not be able to help her...not in this form...and if she were to wake and panic...I shouldn't focus on that...not yet...

2011-12-29 [Yudan333]: Grey watched the door and his muscles tightened in his pj's, "Vampire.. and thirsty." He went to the door and unlocked it as he stared at the tall male standing there in black pants and a crimson tee and a black jacket. "Rick you need to leave." Grey asked sternly with eyes narrowing.

Rick smirked as he looked past him to the sleeping child and to her vein licking his lips, "No way would I pass up innocent blood Grey. Step aside." He went to pass him but Grey pushed himself forward making Rick narrow his eyes, "Damn wolf." He slammed his fist so swiftly it was unseen but Grey had caught several punches to his gut. He then shoved Grey toward the hall and shut the door locking it and smirks looking back to the child, "Dinner time.."

2011-12-30 [Sicarius]: If they could have narrowed, Irving's eyes would have. This wasn't good...

And it just got worse...The rabbit was actually scared...not that the vampire could tell. He glared at the man, having heard his words, "...I doubt it..." Try to bluff...that's all I can do...either that or wake her and take my chances...

The girl sighed softly in her sleep, hugging the rabbit tightly. The garnet eyed butterfly looked at Rick, then fluttered its wings. In a few moments a cloud of silver insects formed a dense cloud around his face, burning wings seeking out uncovered flesh...Thank the Fates...if we're lucky they'll be a distraction long enough for that whelp to break down the door...if not she'll either wake, or that damn Night Walker will get his fangs in her and I hate to think what might happen should he manage it...

2011-12-30 [Yudan333]: Rick smirked as his bright orange hair layered about his shoulders as he shook his head seeing the bugs and slashed with his nails cutting wings off them, "Pests.." He moved closer to Ari still attacking the bugs.

'God Ari.. please don't wake I don't want you to see me like this..' "This is going to hurt.." HE tightened all his muscles as they began to grow and his bones began to snap and grow as his muscles bulged; his nose extended into a muzzle and fur coated his body. He rose up to 6'7" with large body and fangs with claws to match. His fur matched his grey eyes as though he were a mix of grey and white. He took the door knob and ripped it out pushing the door open. Seeing Rick he bared his fangs and rushed him grabbing him digging his claws in his shoulder, Leave Rick.. His voice much more gruff as he bared his fangs.

Rick smirked and rushed him into the hall slamming him into the wall then both were thrown down the hall toward the bathrooms as growls came from Grey hisses came from Rick.

2011-12-31 [Sicarius]: The rabbit let out a sharp bark of laughter at the vampire's words, "They served their purpose Night Walker," he said as Grey burst into the room. And, they'll continue to do so...he thought, as another cloud of them appeared to envelop Rick's face during his scuffle with the Shifter...

Ari stirred in her sleep...and try as he might to keep her from waking during the noisy tussle, Irving could only do so much. Dark eyes opened and one hand rose to sleepily rub them as the other gripped the rabbit tightly. "What's going on Mister Irving?" The bunny didn't even have time to reply as the sound of someone slamming into the wall caused the girl to start and move from the bed to the floor, eyes wide with fear. It was as though she could not control her own movements as she wandered out of the room toward the growling and hissing. "Miss Ari, you should go back to the room...Dir En Grey will be back shortly..." The rabbit's advice fell on deaf ears...something bade her see what was happening...

Irving sighed, "Remember Lady Amber? How I told you she was a vampire?" His questions caused her to stop. "Yes," she replied, voice soft, fearful. "This is one of the bad ones..." the rabbit paused briefly, "...the Shifter is trying to keep him away...and he might just win...Shifter he may be, but Grey is not like those you've met before...he's more than proven that...Now my suggestion, Miss Ariston, is to return to the bedroom...the Shifter lured him out of there for a reason-"

"...so I'd be safe..." the girl murmured, hugging the rabbit tighter as she stood there. "Precisely," he replied, and another bigger cloud of silver winged insects appeared surrounding them both. "Now please, Miss Ari, let's go back to bed." Ari shook her head, "...but he might need help..." Irving was about to reply when the young maid spoke again, "...I won't leave him alone..." Of course...the rabbit gave an inward sigh. "As you wish, Miss Ariston..."

2012-04-22 [Yudan333]: Grey hit the tile wall and bared his fangs as he bit into the vampires shoulder; his claws were extended and dug into his chest. I have to keep fighting for her! I will win! LEAVE RICK! He dug his fangs deep into the male as he was pinned to the wall.

Rick only smirked at the pain seeing his blood coat the grey coated wolf and maw, "You are such an animal. So primal yet you went soft somewhere in evolution. Is it because your father was a werewolf that raped your mother?! Or is it your daddy that was human that boned a wolf?! You're nothing but inbreed Beasts!" Rick hissed and kneed the wolf between the legs and then shoved his neck up as though to fire the final blow.

Though was stopped by the firm paw of the young male as he smiled, "I don't want to fight you. I have no grudge against vampires, humans, or demons for that matter... please just go." He pleaded softly his eye swollen and his shoulder and hips bleeding. He saw Rick huff and call him pathetic among other things and then leapt out the open bathroom window into the night. Grey slowly slumped down against the males bathroom and to the tile. He breathed heavily and slowly slumped over to his stomach a bit of blood pooling at his stomach and shoulder. His large nostrils flared as he gazed to the entrance and licked his nose of blood, "Why did he go for the cock shot... god my balls hurt." He whined and cupped his naked genitals. 'I saved Ari... i'm glad. but i cant let her see me like this monster...' He winced as he bit his jaw as his bones snapped and muscles shrank. It was a most painful process which he mastered but nevertheless the pain still remained.

He was human his slender bare form rather pale in the dark bathroom. Blood left the claw wounds at his small waist and chest as puncture marks were at his neck. He sat up kneeling still holding his groin, "I have to clean this mess.." He looked to the blood on the floor then on him his dim grey eyes looked up to the entrance and shuddered as he saw her, "Ari... what are you-" He was in shock but also slightly worried that she would see him mostly naked but also wounded. He saw her eyes and smiled, "Hey don't look at me like that I'm fine. Just a few cuts is all and he bit me! Like those tropical man eating fish! Guess I should call him Pirana!" He chuckled and smiled keeping his cheery mood as always.

2012-04-22 [Sicarius]: Ariston merely gaped at the sight of Grey, battered and bloody. It did not register with her that the Shifter was naked...and even if it had, it would not have mattered...a friend was hurt...Why can't I move? she thought.

It was Irving who broke the silence.

"That was too easy..."

Ari's paralysis seemed to leave shortly after those words were spoken. "...you're bleeding..." Okay, an obvious statement...but at least she was talking. "...we should get some bandages..." Still more words...progress to be sure...but her speech was stilted...The child was still in shock.

Garnet eyed butterfly removed itself from her hair, then fluttered toward the wolf. Landing gently, its tongue unfurled at the site of one of the more ferocious wounds and proceeded to syphon blood into itself...a few seconds later, it was healed, save for a minor scar. When this was accomplished it fluttered back to Ari and settled in her hair, once more taking its place as a hairclip.

"So," Irving said, breaking the silence, "what now? Are we to have more episodes like this one?"

2012-04-22 [Yudan333]: Grey blinked as he gazed to her shocked face and he simply smiled. Seeing the butterfly he stayed still and watched his shoulder slowly healing from the power of the winged creature. He smiled and looked to Irving, "Yea maybe but I hope not too many more." He would have rubbed his head but his hands were to busy cupping his male parts.

His eyes looked to Ari, "Hey if you want to help go back to the room and pull out some clothes for me in the closet. I'll wear anything you pick out okay? Oh and the first aid is under the bed so pull it out okay? I'll wash up some here."

2012-04-23 [Sicarius]: Irving chuckled darkly, "Indeed...you won't last many more of them..."

Ariston nodded at Grey's words, and clutching Irving tightly, turned and walked back to the bedroom. She gave a sigh as she opened the closet door and looked up at the clothes, then grabbed a brown shortsleeved shirt that had an imprint of an angry looking bear and a pair of well worn jeans...It took some jumping and the setting down of the rabbit for her to get them but eventually her work paid off. She folded the garments carefully placing them beside Irving, then moved to the bunkbed. Kneeling down, she peeked underneath and grabbed hold of the handle to the clear plastic case.

Case in hand she moved once more to the clothes and her precious handsewn bunny. Hugging the black rabbit and clothes to her she wandered back out into the hall and, after a few moments, she found herself waiting outside the bathroom.

2012-04-23 [Yudan333]: Grey watched her go then quickly began to clean the blood with a dark towel and tossed it in a bin then went into a clear enclosed showering room and rinsed off all the blood letting the warm water rush over his skin. He took a towel but set it on the counter and stood back and shook off his entire body as he was left dry. He wrapped the towel around his hip then went to the door opening it then looked down seeing Ari he smiled.

Taking the clothes he put them on his shoulder and then lifted her up into his arms and carried her, "Come Princess Ari! We must return to dream land so that we may both we well rested for the real world." He walked to the bed and sat her down he then began to fix the door a bit. On his back was a long scar from his shoulder to the opposite hip and then when he turned he saw her eyes. He looked to his chest seeing the cuts getting ready to trickle. He quickly sat down towel still on and began to bandage himself up as though he had don't it many times before.

2012-04-23 [Sicarius]: Dark eyes opened wide at his comment of going back to sleep. "...what if he's still there?" A small amount of terror was held within...though it passed soon enough and she cozied up next to him...seconds later she was asleep.

"So, what's the plan, Shifter?" the gruff rabbit sighed, "...I persuaded Miss Ariston to come here in the belief she would be safer...perhaps I was wrong in making such a presumption...Nightwalkers and Shifters...who knows what else she might encounter here...and what might trigger her...episodes..."

2012-04-23 [Yudan333]: Grey settled her in the bed covering her in the sheets. He rubs the back of his neck and looked to her and his eyes softened, 'I just wanted to protect her...' He sat down on his but on the ground as he put a wrap about his chest and waist then a large band-aid near his collar.

He stood and dropped the towel as he slid on the clothes she had picked out and then leaned against the bed frame closing his eyes, "Maybe she will be safer in the woman's dorm. I guess the men here are rather dangerous... I just wanted to help. I know I can and I intend to stay with here at any cost."

2012-04-23 [Sicarius]: Irving let out a sigh, "You misunderstand...regardless of where in this castle she is placed, there is danger...your actions were honorable...and, as I am unable at present to change to my true form, most welcome...That vampire...Rick...he'll likely do his best to get his hands on Miss Ariston...his kind always do...the fact she is yet an innocent will only strengthen his desire to satiate his thirst for her blood..." Blue button eyes were grim, "...We met a vampire earlier...a Miss Amber...perhaps, were you to speak to her on Ariston's behalf, she might be able to shorten that brute's leash...at the very least, she would be aware of the situation..."

Ari gave a sleepy murmur as she shifted in her sleep...the handsewn gave another sigh, "Right...I doubt either one of us is going to get much sleep...so, would you mind telling me something about your background."

2012-04-23 [Yudan333]: Grey listened and relaxed on the bed yawning lightly from being a bit weary form the fight but he was still awake. He shook his head at the thought of that dreadful pale woman, "Amber? Must I? She honestly scares me. She is a Shifters nightmare and wet dream. She's a very lusty woman... If I have to to save Ari though I will gladly risk anything. I will notify her then possibly Saku."

He yawned once more which was a bit more audible especially with his mouth stretching wide, "Hmm? my background? Like what? I honestly don't remember much of my years... i have lived so many that they have began to blur together. I can't even remember if i had siblings or not or anything about my parents. I just know my abilities."

2012-04-23 [Sicarius]: The rabbit gave a gruff chuckle, "Odd you should be so frightened...she's actually the one who pointed us in your direction...As for the lusty part...yeah it's rather hard to miss..." He gave another chuckle then gave a long sigh, "...there's nothing to be done if you are speaking about her abilities or the nightmares she all too often encounters both in slumber and in wakefulness..." a pause, then he switched topics. "Who is this Saku character?"

When Grey finished speaking, Irving huffed, "I figured as much...so, what are your abilities exactly...besides getting your ass kicked by a Nightwalker..." a sharp bark of laughter...whoever would have guessed the old bunny had a sense of humour?

2012-04-23 [Yudan333]: Grey opened his eyes as he spoke and sighed soflty, "Saku is the oldest and wisest one here. He is the one whom started all this. He's a kind vampire. He's really powerful but I have never seen him fight but I bet it would be amazing..."

He blinked and looked back at the hare, "Hey hey hey, I did my best well at least some, I didn't want to fight I was trying to avoid it really. I can fight I just don't like too. I probably could have won but.. If I get serious... it changes something in me.." He touched his chest, "I feel like a real beast and an animal... something uncontrollable. I'm worried someone could get hurt."

2012-04-26 [Sicarius]: If he could have, the old rabbit would have grinned. "Amazing indeed...so long as one was not on the recieving end..."

Irving listened patiently, handsewn ears taking every word in. "It's called being a Shifter..." he replied shortly. "And at least you are able to control, for the most part, when you become what you become...Miss Ariston cannot...The butterflies react to her unconcious desire to protect or heal...sometimes they react on their own...A shifting Shade that alternately attacks and shelters her...and then there are the times when she comes dangerously close to unraveling completely...a time when her abilities can be exploited...and indeed were..."

2012-05-06 [Yudan333]: Grey rubbed his chest at a small remaining pain but not from the fight. It was from the idea of being what he was. He brushed his hair back and looked to the two in bed. He knelled at the bed and saw the red butterfly and smiled whispering, "Please don't hurt me.." He gently brushed through her hair and smiled gazing to her as he closed his eyes resting his head on the side of the bed and began humming a tune that was passed through his family for generations. It was known as Pan's Labyrinth: Long long time ago. (it's a real song. Look it up. By Javier Navarrete ^^)

2012-05-06 [Sicarius]: Irving sighed, "It's nothing to be ashamed of...your being a Shifter...it simply is...Accept it and move on...make it your own...if it is the young miss you are worried about, you need not do so...You cannot scare her away even if you wish to...Your actions have let her see not all of your kind are as cruel as some...She may be frightened sometimes by the magnitude of your abilities, or how your personality might change, but that will pass quickly and she will see you once more as protector..." a long pause, "...She is in sore need of one who can actually help her..."

The garnet eyes of the silver winged insect merely stared at the Shifter...wings fluttered slightly, then stilled. "The butterfly, ever present...both blessing and curse to her...though she sees them more as the latter...They were what led the proverbial wolf to her door...the cause of her parents' untimely demise...why she was chosen by the Creator...and ultimately used by the Warbirds instead of being slaughtered like so many others..."

2012-06-11 [Yudan333]: Grey brushed his fingers through her hair listening to the hare which spoke to him. His eyes had a tiredness in them as he tried to keep them open. He was catching every word despite the fact his body was giving up on trying to stay conscious. "I will keep her safe. I will protect her with all the power invested in me." He smiled and closed his eyes as his hand lowered to hold hers loosely, "I love you my little Ari.." His smile faded as sleep and darkness took him into the unknown.

2012-07-11 [Sicarius]: Irving sighed as he heard Grey's promise. "You'll try...and if you're lucky, you'll manage to escape unscathed..." Ari gripped the Shifter's hand tighter in her sleep. Blue button eyes seemed to reveal some sadness, "In time she won't need me...stuck in this form I'm at her mercy...when she grows, she'll likely one day forget about me...and who knows, perhaps I'll have redeemed myself by that time...and can keep watch from a distance..."

2012-07-18 [Yudan333]: Grey yawned after a full hours of sleep and winced batting his eyelides seeing Ari fast asleep still. He smiled then yawned once more as he slipped away and stood stretching as his spine began to pop all the way up. He then snapped his neck left then right and shook off the tiredness. He flicked his nose and huffed as he looked over to the girl then to the hare. Moving to the closet he got a shirt and threw it on. It was a plain grey tee with a penguin on the front. He then got some boxers and pants then closed the closet being able to change in there. He came out in black shorts which went to his knees. He popped his toes then looked to the two waiting to see if either were awake. He thought of leaving to get breakfast seeing as the vampires wouldn't be out He hoped they could have fun during the day.
